Strengthening Indigenous Women's Cooperatives for the Development of the Beekeeping Value Chain in the Municipality of Bassila
AMAF BENIN > Strengthening Indigenous Women's Cooperatives for the Development of the Beekeeping Value Chain in the Municipality of BassilaThis project received funding from the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI). It represents our organization's pilot initiative to promote beekeeping entrepreneurship and develop the beekeeping value chain. It has helped promote the economic empowerment of rural women in three villages in Bassila (Kodowari, Pénélan, and Pénéssoulou). The goal is to contribute to promoting women's employment, conserving natural resources, mitigating the effects of climate change, and fostering local economic development.
