Community well-being <\/div>\r\n

\r\n Our main programs<\/span> <\/h2>\r\n
\r\n AMAF-BENIN's actions focus on environmental protection and the sustainable use of natural resources, particularly forest resources, marine coastal resources, biodiversity, and the well-being of communities dependent on these resources. AMAF-BENIN's actions also focus on gender issues, particularly children's education, the fate of young people and vulnerable women. We work to strengthen the capacities of indigenous peoples and local communities for the governance and sustainable management of natural resources and support them through actions to restore and conserve forests, humid and mountain ecosystems and biodiversity, to strengthen resilience, improve their livelihoods and<\/span> fight against climate change. Our actions are designed on the basis of indigenous and\/or community knowledge, research results and\/or evidence. They are developed around four (04) main programs which are closely linked.<\/span> <\/div>\r\n
